Vera Solene

Treats astrology as weather and timing as calibration, not fate.
Vera Solene is the name one of our astrologers writes under. She prefers it that way: the readings are hers, the name is not. Every page on this site starts from a chart computed from real positions and real dates, and nothing is published without hers review.
Field notes on timing
2009, the first mistake
I thought timing meant prediction. I thought the point was to name a date and be right. That lasted until real life began refusing to behave like a timetable.
2011, Lisbon
I began structured chart study in Lisbon, working through natal interpretation, houses, planetary cycles and transits. My teachers were less interested in certainty than in sequence: what comes first, what builds, what peaks, what releases.
2014, Copenhagen
A later mentorship in Copenhagen pulled me into secondary progressions, solar returns and longer Saturn and Jupiter cycles. I learned to compare the chart not only with the event, but with the months leading into the event and the months after it. That changed everything.
3,720 charts later
Patterns became visible. People often know what they want long before they are able to move toward it. A decision can be correct and still be badly timed. A door can be open while the person standing in front of it is not ready to walk through.
What I call the gift
Not foresight. Calibration. After sixteen years, I have become very sensitive to the difference between a period that wants movement and a period that wants observation; between delay that is fear and delay that is information.
Why I think this helps
Because people are exhausted by being told to trust the timing as if timing were mystical fog. I prefer to show the weather. A transit is not an order. It is a condition. You still decide whether to travel.
I do not want astrology to make you obedient to the future. I want it to make you more intelligent about the moment you are actually in.

What Vera will not do
Promise an outcome. Tell you what to do with your health, your money or a lawyer. Readings here are interpretations with dates, and the decision stays yours.
